The mass production process a lot more conceptual than the other parts of the project. This will be another standard size warehouse facility dedicated to grow large quantities of pestalotiopsis microspora and turning the fungi into liquid spawn.
The facility will have large bins made of plastic, or a cheaper material the fungi can’t eat through, that will house a medium for growing the fungi, like agar or a nutrient gelatin. Large inoculation loops will be used to collect the fungi when it is ready to harvest. Areas for equipment sterilization will be placed in two to three places throughout the warehouse area. From there the fungi will be transferred to large tubes of distilled water where it will be transferred to a large tank consistently kept around room temperature, or 68 degrees fahrenheit. From there trucks with tanks on their backs will transfer the spawn to the desired facility to be applied to the plastic.
